grin ... if i'm not completely wrong, the "2000"-version is a re-recording – but feel free to correct me as it's just wikipedia-knowledge... wink possibly, parts of the re-recording-session can be viewed in the sempel-movie (but i also might be wrong here).

hm, judging from various other bill-laswell-projects i heard over the years, he would have been able to do a "fuller" mix for sure if the band would have wanted it to sound different... i mean, the guy did a lot of dub-stuff, and as that's mainly deep bass-rhythms... and, besides that, he's a bass-player himself...

You're probably right about it being a re-recording. I was just guessing that it might be one of the 'alternate mixes'. I guess the clue is in the title 'Orgasmatron 2000' Doh! laugh (though I guess it could have meant the release date)

I haven't seen the Sempel movie unfortunately frown

I really have never understand the band's dislike for the production. Phil Campbell said it should have sounded "Like a big shit after a curry" grin
