are you talking about nova rock in nickelsdorf/austria ? if so, closest international airports are vienna/austria (approx. 100 km) and bratislava/slovakia (approx. 50 km). don't know the festival, but spend a holiday in that area many moons ago, was quite nice back then.

in case you don't mind missing metallica (you'd get nick cave and kraftwerk instead ), maybe this one's an option, too? located in the southern part of germany. nice area, too - and should be more or less easy to reach from various international german and swiss airports (munich, frankfurt, stuttgart, basel, zürich).

in case you seriously plan on going and face language-problems while planing the trip, feel free to ask...
