Nice one Mario smile

The forum never remembers my login name & password, even though I've asked it to. Same for everyone else?

hey Mario

how do I get my name to appear as Killed by Death instead of killedbydeath?

And about the band section the bug is this:

About the Band
About Lemmy, Mickey, and Phil

see anything wrong there? smile

That's a good one. Moreover, I think it would be better to leave only "About the Band" line, because we talk about other line-ups as well.

Can you please visit your profile settings? There should be the option to change the displayed name now.

Toast,

I also have a problem with my Firefox, but only on one of the CPUs I'm using. It logs me out each time I close the browser window. But since it happens only on of of my CPUs, it's not the forum problem. Also, when I access those sites on other browsers, everything's fine.

Does FF log you out on other sites that you want to be remembered at?

not a bug only a suggestion:

the shoutbox on top of this page (like the old forum) and "who's online" "newest member" and the calendar at the bottom.

All the other sites I ask FF to remember me on(several), it does, no problemo. I reckon it's a problem with the site. Maybe it just doesn't like me... cry

I've installed just FF 3.0.1 and it appears that my problem has been thus solved. All sites remember me after I close the browser and open it again. So maybe upgrading (if you haven't done it already) is the solution?

The subtitle for "About the band" is wrong. It's Mikkey and not Mickey [Mouse]. I thought every Motörhead listener knew that...

All history posts are gone into ashes. I've seen that ace of trump has registered again.
The good thing is that all is cleaned up. Old furum members set back on track.
Someones complain about the memory function of passwords and usernames.

Let the bugs be death. How to keep it clean? I don't know? You can't stop new topic posts. Maybe we need moderators for posting new topics only, and members can only reply. It will be better to look for new topics post by moderators.

I have also always troubles spelling names proper. Mickey is the mouse. Mikkey the drummer. Last post i wrote Mik. Mutch easier. Phill i spell with to mutch LL or one L. The H i don't forget to spell. In the language of my country the PH we talk it in F. this for example FiL Cambell.

I've got a problem - cannot post from my CPU at work since the main website changed. When trying to post, I get a message about me being firewalled or sth. I use proxy at work, maybe that's a problem - but I didn't have this problem before.

I can log in alright, just cannot post. Can someone fix that? I hardly ever use the Internet at home where I'm now.

for me the video works fine smile Although Germany is not part of the USA. As far as I know ... eek

Because of the vegetarian thing: Now they are advertising a herbal deodorant/showergel before the video starts. Maybe you should try again? wink

I've got the same username as I did on the old forums... but this is a new account right? ...that seems to let me log in whenever it feels like it:)

New forums look cool, just take a little gettin' used to i think tho...

Hey guys, don't know if anyone else got this (or it is my marvelous and shiny vista sick )
if I try to post under the www.imotorhead.com adress of the forum I get this message:

UBB Message
The host from which you are accessing the board is not recognized as a valid host. This is more than likely related to a firewall issue that is blocking the referer variable. Check your firewall settings and try again.

Please click back to return to the previous page.

Under the ip adress works just fine

Hi all,

I'm still pressing spotmen about Polish letters on Forum. At the time of typing is any answer from them. Please maybe you or somebody official from that Forum will push business better???

Below I attach my correspondence with spotmen and UBB (which is the creator of Forum engine)

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I contacted with UBB (the creator of imotorhead. com Forum engine) and get poloowing answer:

Hello,

If you set the content encoding properly in the generic.php language file then it should work fine. Most people set it to UTF-8 so it supports all characters correctly.

Regards,
Rick Baker
UBB Support

Do you think it is possible check that adjustments in imotorhead.com Forum?

Thanks in advance

Apetyczny (nick from imotorhead Forum)

Temat: www.imotorhead forum - Polish letters

Hi folks,

As I know from one of the Admin you are running the Official Motorhead page.

Let me ask you one more question: Do you think it is possible to include the use of Polish letters in the Forum. Our language has some unusual characters like: ó, ą, ę, ś, ć, ż, ź. But when I type it on Forum it looka like: ż, ś, ć, etc...

I used to lead any forum on this engine, and from what I remember it served our letters. Probably just something to set. Probably you shall got access and implement central and eastern european fonts. It is possible on computers in Poland - and I'm sure it will be possible on the Forum!

Will be easier write in Polish on the our part on international board...

Look too: http://imotorhead.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=29862#Post29862

Thanks in advance! Stay in touch.

Apetyczny

A bit weird that the Polish letters don't work I mean Swedish letters å ä ö seems to work properly...

A properly working shoutbox with Firefox would be nice though.

Swedish works properly cause it's not central/eastern European type of fonts. Probably to resolve this bug enough switch something in this Forum engine (look my above description). But what to do? Admins gone forewer and nobody else can do this...

Or here is NOT GOOD WILL to do this????

In my Safari browser on computer I can see our special fonts, problem is, when I'm posting a mesage to Forum.

Look at the problem - below few of Polish unusual letter:

ą, ę, ć, ś, ż, ź, ó
