BLOODCLOT - Prague / thank you menzman : )))) hi MoD, better check the venue before going. seems at least 2 shows (cologne tonight and hamburg tomorrow) are cancelled. according to the "mtc"-page (tonights venue in cologne), one of the bandmembers had to fly back to the states immediately... no idea if he will return or if they somehow replace him - seems the shows in munich, stuttgart, NL and vienna are still up, but i have no further info at the moment... Mo 01.09. BLOODCLOT Show fällt aus! Tickets können an den VVK-Stellen zurückgegeben werden! Eines der Bloodclot Mitglieder musste wg einer schwerwiegenden OP seiner Mutter kurzfristig zurück in die Staaten.

update: just got a mail from m.a.d.... Hi XXX - die Stuttgart Show findet definitiv statt! Die Mutter des Sängers hatte eine schwere Operation, so dass er zurück in die USA fliegen musste. Er kommt aber morgen wieder zurück nach Deutschland.
Gruss,... sez: the show in stuttgart is definitely going to happen. the singer had to fly back to the states because of his mothers urgent surgery. but he'll be back in germany by tomorrow (sept. 3rd). guess that means they'll continue the tour as scheduled...  updated update (sept. 3rd):asked "m.a.d." about the prague-show as their page only confirmed the remaining german, dutch and austrian dates - they just replied, prague-show will happen as scheduled, too... Ja die letzte Show ist in Prag 10. September Lucerna Music Bar! Aber warum das bei uns nicht steht werd ich gleich mal checken! translates: yes, the last show will take place at the "lucerna music bar" in prague on september 10th. no idea why the date is not on our homepage, will check that...

BLOODCLOT - Prague / thank you menzman : )))) just returned from the local show in stuttgart and it was well worth going. rather short set, but they simply have only 12 or so own songs. they added two cro-mags-songs and to my surprise they also did "i against i" from the bad brains (which, also to my surprise, really worked). band was pretty tight and into it - to avoid constantly crashing into each other on the very small stage, the guitarplayer spent most of the show in the crowd, playing away... that gave john joseph enough space to move around. was really great to see him again, obviously enjoying himself instead of milking his status as "hardcore-legend"... haha, before the show he lit up some incense - was a nice change of routine, some "exotic" odor instead of the usual booze- and hairspray-stench, allthough some people looked slightly irritated... great band - good show - worth watching! oh, and for the "merch": besides the usual shirts they have the self-released and -distributed "burn babylon burn"-album (no wonder it's quite hard to get here), an extended cro-mags-cd and "the book" - all pretty reasonable priced (cds/shirts € 10, book € 20) ...

Sorry for being absent for another prolonged time .... back into the work shit  Only now I read the briefing, but then at least you know that a hint was enough to make me move my ass ..... Yes --- mission completed  .... Proof:    Full set : http://www.janachrzova.net/bloodclot_092008/ Lucerna Music Bar is by far better venue than I thought, incense stuff the same, merch - just t-shirts and CD, of course I got the CD, as for the t-shirts .... as always, too much colour  Now: excellent stuff (thanks for the hint!!), as for the set-list, most likely the same:  All in all a friendly (yet short) gig: - bearable number of fist hits and almost no bruises
- divers 100kg+ usually missed me
- brotherly handshakes with Eric, Scott, Rick
- setlist and kiss from John I think ... I was rather perplexed
Now this I call the evening.  Any other tip for a gig ?
