Don't know why it took me so long to jump on this site. Been a huge fan of MOTORHEAD since the early 80's, and have seen them only 5 times, and they have become an annual event! Just saw em' again last night and cannot wait until next year....Wish I could drive down to St. Louis tonight....

I suppose I should introduce myself. I really like this site thus far--everyone seems quite friendly and cordial (just because we all like some rude-ass music doesn't mean that we can't retain some social graces); maybe this is because there aren't so many of us obnoxious Americans on here!

Anyway, my name is Scott, and I've been listening to 'head since the late 80's. My first purchase was ...Hammersmith, and I was hooked. I just recently completed my Motorhead collection (well, at least for studio, non-comp albums) when I received the three albums (on cd) that I hadn't had yet, for X-mas: Rock n Roll, Snakebite Love, and Overnight Sensation. I also purchased the new one the day it was released here in the States. That's given me loads of "new" MH to listen to, as well as going back and listening to others.

There's simply no other band like Motorhead! It's great to see that there are so many other like-minded folks out there!

Welcome Scott! I just finished my studio-collection tonight too! Finally bought a copy of the original Motorhead release (had On Parole for a couple years though)!

Thanks, Jimmy. I actually don't have On Parole yet, but it's often not counted as an "official" release. It seems that it has most of the same material as the debut, but different versions? (recorded earlier, in '76). How is On Parole compared to the official debut?

It's taken me long enough to get on this forum! I don't have a clue why. I'm a youngster(29) compared to some of you diehard guys, but have been listening to Motorhead since I was around 7(sometime around "Hellraiser III"). I've been lucky enough to see them in concert five times(1996,2001,2006,2009,2010) and am coming up on my sixth March 8th here in Austin.

My band is heavily influenced by Motorhead, and I think Lemmy is just about the coolest, most hard-nosed, and no bullshit guy I've ever met. My friends Valient Thorr will be opening for him again this tour, and I can't wait to see the show!
