I love Iron Fist. Yeah the production could be better, but the songs are excellent with, as Motorsmell pointed out, some real classics. I am biased though as this was the first album I actually owned. Prior to this I had to pinch my brothers records when he wasn't about.

Probably my least favorite release from the early years, but still worth a listen.

You could argue 'Iron Fist' suffered a little as 'Overkill', 'Bomber','Spades', and 'Hammersmith' was a bloody tough act to follow.

I thought it was a little patchy, but, as with all Motorhead albums, it still contains a few gems. Most notably '(Don't Need) Religion'....love Lem's bassline on this track....'(Don't Let 'Em) Grind Ya Down'...and of course...the title cut.

Been a long time since i've given it a spin. Think i'll give it a go on my next session.

its near on my fav album .....i played this to death near on in my school days love it , it was the lp that really put motorhead firmly on the map for me "religion" music is the religion
