Yeah POD's are a good invention, although the less said about their amps the better in my view. Marshall has a couple of new valve amps out that are low wattage, they aren't ultra cheap but I've seen way worse prices. Their front runner is the Haze series, which is a 15 watt all valve head with one or two cab option (The suggested cabs are the best to use) and a 40 watt combo amp (Which is the type of amp you have now). They aren't cheap as I said but its beginner level amps with pro level valve technology.

IMHO,invest in a Line 6 Pod.
The beauty of such a pedal is it doesn't need volume to duplicate the sound of an amp being driven.

It also has a wide selction fo amp modellers and FX all built in.

Hey Nigel
would this pedal be ok with my amp or would i still need to change that
cheers mark

Mark...
The pedal will work with anything.

As an example...
I use mine plugged into an ordinary domestic hifi, which in turn plugs into my pc.
So no amp,and no speaker cabs at all.

POD's are very good, my guitar teacher when i was learning had one and it was excellent

if its a bit too high tech and you want old school amps, Marshalls MG line is very good, and the 10 and 15 watt versions are excellent

well, it's an older one and it looks beaten up somehow.
But yes, it would do the job....

Yes mate.as Iron Fist said.
If you can get it for anywhere near that price,a good buy.

It looks to be the same as mine.
