What a great album this is. This album is just non-stop meanness. Don't Need religion is my fave. IMO dirtiest MH riff of all time, and I LOVE the eerie, wailing guitar sound in the middle of the song. Remember Me I'm Gone should've been incuded on this album, which I sometimes refer to as "Bite the Bullet II." LOL-That's a compliment!
If Remember Me I'm Gone was on there instead of Shut It Down, and Bite The Bullet instead of outrage, this album would be an A+++++ for me. I give it an A as it is but Remember Me I'm Gone should've been on there too.
The other songs I love on Fist are:
Bang to Rights
Loser
Go To Hell
Heart of Stone
Speedfreak

Don't understand why it's so underrated. The songs are very good. Know there were some personal problems back then but, c'mon, just listen to the title track, Go to Hell, Loser, America, Shut It Down, (Don't Need) Religion. If those difficulties affected the album in any way, they didn't harm it for sure.
... and (Don't Need) Religion is predecessor to Orgasmatron I think.

I don't either. It's a great album! Better than 'Another Perfect Day,' imo.

Iron Fist vs. Another Perfect Day-
APD may be a higher rated album only because it's more "catchy".
Iron Fist's songs are all GREAT but they're meaner and less radio-friendly. And unfortunately for some reason songs/albums by any group that are meaner and more aggressive usually don't rate as well.

You can't really compare Iron Fist and APD - they're two completely different albums. And while APD is one of my favorite MH albums, I rarely listen to Iron Fist.

'Another Perfect Day' sounds best on the original vinyl!

IF and APD are incommensurable. I love both!
