I know how it feels  I got my Fender Precision bass today, I've ordered almost four weeks ago. Waiting is not funny, it's like Xmas when we were kids  oh i know! I feel like im five years old again haha

Not immidiately Motorhead related. But not totally offtopic either. I'm curious who, besides me, knows why.  Lemmy is right. People are just not interested in history, and so will not learn from it. ;-) Here's a picture of my (our?) favorite bass player with such a bass:  I got the bass today, so I'm now able to play with the same sound Lemmy had on the first Hawkwind records (with Lemmy).

serial number 00034, thin neck profile, very light, plays like a dream, seymour duncan pickups sound amazing, came in a fitted crocodile skin case, sounds lovely through my marshall.
Sounds very nice both clean and distorted, you know the tone by now, thin neck profile makes fast playing very easy. The company put a brand new set of ernie balls on it for me. Very easy access to the high frets for solos etc.
Probably THE best guitar i have ever played. Recorded some videos, Damage Case and Killers, just in the process of putting them on my computer.

How is the binding, comfortable? Seem to be pretty sharp edges, no?
