I think Machine Head is ok, but too over produced and long guitar solos that get me lost.
1 Anthrax song is ok but the others either make no sense or have some sort of rap/hip hop infusion??? Will give it a listen again but at first it doesn't seem my thing.

A decent selection, but the double cd Anthrology: No Hit Wonders is a more definitve look at their work. John Bush was then involved singing in some good stuff, but for the real Anthrax sound the Joey Belladonna years are where it's at. Great band live to be fair. Loads of energy and plenty of fun. I'm certainly looking forward to seeeing them live again in November.

OK mate I will change my selection and give it a spin.
So far my impression of metal is that only 3 bands can be entertaining: Sabbath, Venom and Priest. Then we have 4 other good bands still worth a listen like Sepultura, Angra, Napalm Death and Helloween. The rest seem to bore me quickly. I'll watch all support bands in November anyway I may get a better impression of them when on stage.
