Do you know the riff to "sword of glory"?
It is one of Phil's off the wall Heavy riffs...
It took me quite a while to figure that one out

Maybe A JCM 900? I've got one and thought about modding the pre-amp but didn't do it so far.
I don't use the Marshall very often, it's the 100W HGDR Version (exactly the Amp Phil uses, btw.) and it's so f*****g loud.
Almost impossible to play it at home.

Guitar Pro is well worth the money! I'm using it every day and can't imagine a better way to learn songs....

After listening for over 30 years, searching and waiting for alternatives, I understood that there will be no other band like Motörhead. Never.

Don't like rhytm part of this DVD, I think playing all 6 strings with distortion is not very good idea. Using power-chords is better, IMO. But solo part is good.

I play bass and Motörhead is a big reason why I started playing. At first I was playing with a pick, but gradually I moved to fingerstyle, so now I use both, depending on what tone I want. I play a piece-of-shit Ibanez, but I hope to buy a P-bass real soon (a Ric is too expensive for me). And, I use a Boss Heavy Metal (HM-2) distortion pedal - it's a great pedal, you can get a wide variety of tones (from Lemmy-distortion to Burton-fuzz).

You've got a nice generous wife wink

Keep playing the riff and you'll get it down within a day or two... Sword of Glory is one of best songs on Kiss of Death and Motorhead should play it live in concert

Hi !!
Good Idea ,
and I would like to contribute

but I play piano and don't know so much about
this kind of equipment
when I think about motoerhead from this point
I think about things like
"harmonies", rythm, melodies, tension , sensation and
what kind of feeling it gives
which kind of me or others it touches
what it means to me or others
where do the feelings come from
more from the guts or more from the heart or where else from
how the music is part of my life
and what certain songs "awake" in me

and stuff !
can't say too much about guitar equipment
on the Aurich Festival I got nearly killed
because I said Guitar and not bass

there's only two songs
I can play on guitar
nothing else matters from metallica
and All my loving from the Beatles.....

by the way Rock'n Roll piano music is hard to play
the hand moves very fast and my arm gets stiff as stone after 4 sec

BUT :

good idea !!!!! crazy
