No need to be lost in the ozone, there's quite some people around on this forum with extensive knowledge about the best band in the world.

I thought it might be a good ting to have a place where questions can be asked and answered without a new thread being created.

So if there's a question you need and answer to post it here and very likely somebody will answer it, if there's an answer to it that is.

can this be made a 'perminant' thread? confused (if that is the right word for it) so it itself doesn't get lost in all the other threads

as for a qeustion, does anone know if there are going to be anymore 2disc reissues of past albums, like they did with all the ones up to 'rock n roll'. Now that the band are on a new label is this a possibilty? cool

Good idea, but shouldn't this thread have a more fitting title?
I guess no one will ever see any relation between the title and the purpose of the thread now!?

what do people think of the 'Live at Brixton '87 ' album? is it worth getting? I've heard a handfull of tracks on youtube, and it seems the sound quailty is rubbish, but then again its got several tracks which arn't on other live albums. confused

It's an alright release, no prize winner but it's not apocalyptically dreadful either. If you can pick it up cheap or cheapish then do, otherwise I wouldn't break the bank.

Both 'No Sleep At All' and 'Brixton '87' are not rich in terms of sound, what NSAA lacks in low end sound quality Brixton '87 makes up for, albeit a rather muddy sound with little high end clarity. It's an uneven fight with little to decide the outcome, both albums (Despite good performances, no quarrel there) have flaws and redeeming factors, but both albums are worth having just to fill out the collection.

interesting. I have 'No Sleep at all' but only on cassatte, so its not the best sound quality, but i still think that really rocks. I'll have to look in to getting both of them then! thanks for the help, this thread is already proving usefull!
