I've dusted off the record player tonight (along with the vodka bottle) and currently spinning Vagabonds of the Western World. For me it's the first true Thin Lizzy album, where they seem to have really started forming their sound. And how amazing does Eric bell sound, especially on The Rocker. Shame it was to be his last Lizzy LP.

Terentek... the Hawkwind 3 CD Parallel Universe is well worth getting. My missus got it for me from HMV for £14.99. Amazon have it for £11.99 I think, not bad for over 4 hours of music. There are a few previously unreleased tracks like 'Hog Farm', which might make a good Motorhead title track actually! 'Take What You Can' is another good 'un. The full-length version of 'Brainbox Pollution' with a Lemmy bass workout was a highlight for me.

I've been on a bit of a Skindred binge lately. Normally I hardly look into 'New' bands, but these guys have a style that, while seeming a bit youth-oriented, is actually quite unique and well executed.
