Hi and hello to all here. i'm new to the site and have liked very much what i've seen so far. Have been a fan since '87 when i saw the light.... I do have one request to start our friendship off though, and that is; if any of you have a vinyl copy of 'inferno' could or would you send me a photocopy of album cover at actual size please. It's for a tattoo i want and also a painting. Many thanks, and best wishes to u all.

I got the tickets because of a tweet from Charlie Harper when they got the gig.

Delighted as I'd have ended up missing out again on tickets, I always think you can go on the day they take place! <slapsHead>

Wassup....

I'm Haz, I live in Devon. I'm 17. Hawkwind are my favourite band, followed closely by Motorhead, Sabbath, Mudhoney, Screaming Trees, Nirvana, Metallica, Ozric Tentacles, Pink Floyd etc etc!

Always loved Motorhead, seen 'em three or four times, not a lot in comparison to the lifelong fans which have seen literally hundreds, but it's okay, I go whenever I can. Should be going to Plymouth tomorrow (14th Nov), but haven't got ticket yet (I'm an unorganised shit) and will mean another loitering around all night.

Lemmy's one of my heroes, my bass style is based (or BASSed) on his, Alan Davey's (Hawkwind - he plays similar to Lem), Geezer Butler and Krist Novoselic. I love Lem's bass, lyrics, originality and his no-bullshit approach. Love Motorhead, but in all honesty, prefer his work in Hawkwind (His jamming on the Space Ritual album made me realise bass didn't have to be boring, so I bought one, now I study it!). Haven't met Lemmy yet, met Mikkey and Phil, but determined more than ever to meet the Lemmy.

I'm blabbering a bit anyway, but, pleased to meet ya. I eye up this forum every so often, might as well join in. I'm on the Hawkwind forum if anyone else is...

Hi anyway smile

Cheers n' beers,
Haz.
