Evening! Just joined the forum. Been listening to Motörhead for some years now, and I recently bought my ticket to see them live for the very first time at their show here in Bergen, Norway on June 10th! Can't wait for that one.

Aside from Motörhead, I enjoy all sorts of music. Rock and metal is obviously what I prefer, but rap, electronic music and classical music are also genres of music I can appreciate. Some of my other favorite bands are Iron Maiden, Slayer, Metallica, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, and Radiohead.

I also watch loads of movies and TV shows, especially science fiction, thrillers and dramas. My favorite film directors are Quentin Tarantino, Stanley Kubrick and Darren Aronofsky. When it comes to TV shows, a solid HBO drama is what I prefer. The Sopranos, The Wire, Oz, stuff like that.

So... yeah. Hope to meet some cool people on the board!

Hey everyone! New MHB and forum memeber. I was into Motorhead back in the mid eighties but haven't listened to them much until recently. I heard the new Head Cat album playing at a record store and recognised Lemmy's voice and bought the CD. Now I have 20 Motorhead albums and working on the getting the last few (all purchased). Love the music, it's all I listen to anymore.

Hey there motorheadbangers; cigar smokin CohibaCris here (just Cris - North Carolinian) have recently become hooked by the groove that is Motorhead and the results are a bit odd..

Two offerings - one is a patch that I carved from leather and painted to mimic a Pategno artwork modified Motorhead style and the other is a compilation of album art that can be used as wallpaper for your 'puter...

G'day! I joined the forum a week or so back and am a relative newbie regarding my awareness of the band. Obviously I knew of AOS and covers done by Metallica among others. That said, I am hooked deep and the simple R&R approach combined with Lemmy's lyrics & stories are enough to keep it on shuffle for days on end. I can thank Greg & Wes (makers of Lemmy - 49/51%) for this - their doc was what turned me into a MHB.

Some of my other favorite bands are AC/DC, Maiden, Megadeth, Metallica, Dave Matthews Band, Ella Fitzgerald, Miles Davis - basically anything that is true and heartfelt & delivered with attitude.

So... f*@k off ya c^&ts & I hope to meet some cool people on the board! Prayers for Lemmy to get better & for them to book some southeast US dates in the future!
