Hi One and All

I was on the old forum many moons ago........... confused
But let me introduce myself.........

I'm Gambo, Born in 196? so lets just say 40+
I live down by the sea now, but was born and raised in West London.
First heard of the band via a friends big brother who lent me the 'Beer Drinkers, Hell Raisers' 12"
Having heard that I went and brought the first album..... and been buying them ever since...
First saw them Live in 1980 and been hooked ever since

A favourite album ?? Not sure I have just one.....
The first will always be specail to me, Bastards and Inferno are both stand out albums.
But the best for me are the live albums, No Sleep, Everything Louder, Boneshaker and Better Motorhead, Than Dead
Because LIVE, THEY REALLY KICK ARSE !!!! grin

I think Jimmy Page set new standards for record sound quality. But then some bands like AC/DC decided to just make thier records loud and less musical. I'm glad that Motorhead never did that. Their recordings sound the way they should, you can hear all the instruments properly, it's not just a bunch of fuckin noise.

I guess I was supposed to introduce myself here. I'm basically a bad ass. I had a rough childhood but never asked for anybody's help so now I don't really want anybody's help even though it would be nice sometimes. I've been in plenty of fights but I don't usually do that well cause I only weigh like 145lbs. I'm in my mid 20's now. I was first introduced to Motorhead in 2006 by my older brother. Then just a few months ago I read some reviews of bands because I was getting a little tired of listening to the same Led Zeppelin, Guns n' Roses CDs over and over. Anyway I was surprised to find out that Motorhead were such a consistent band, I had only heard ACE of Spades and Overkill in 2006, so I downloaded they're entire discography and was shocked at how much good music they made. Also I recommend Mark Prindle for CD reviews on the internet, that's what me and my brother use, just type the name into google and it'll come up.
