Well, as i said i was thinking 'bout going, too. Last time Metallica played my area they have been pretty good, and Motörhead sounded like a very very nice and welcome extra, plus it's not that far from where i live (four-hour-drive).
I immediately skipped plans when i found out about the ticket-price and the golden circle-thing - and in my opinon, if i could find out about it in advance, everybody else could, too
And even swiss bands charge a lot less when they play in my hometown (in Germany) as when they play in switzerland - certain prices in that country are insane compared to the rest of Europe. I'd not even blame Metallica for that, not to speak of the "support-bands"...
Btw., according to some statements on facebook, so far the show's pretty good and the weather's fine - nice to hear after the swiss Sonissphere-desasters in the past
Btw., 2: as mentioned in a previous post, german tv-station "eins plus" is broadcasting live from "Rock am Ring"-Festival the whole weekend. Right now, it looks like they are going to screen Motörheads show friday night/saturday morning - guess we'll soon find out about this years festival-set (they are headlining the second stage).
Edit: sounds like "overkill" is in the set...
