I got the ticket that you print off for Brixton,but for cambridge i think the postage was something like a fiver!!!

I just ordered via the Brixton O2 website, and the £34 ticket went up by £6.75 as I progressed. £2.50 to post tickets, so I took the email annd print option and that was £2.50 as well!!! It even cost £1.50 if you want to collect the fuckers from the Box Office. Then they charge £4.25 for the privilege of buying a ticket from them. Thank fuck the band ain't playing London during the Olympics!!!!!!!

Lawrence its gonna be a great. Mark Cambridge told me they don't post standing tickets you collect on the night from the box office. I'm sure that's what they have always done.

I saw the 2010 gig at Cambridge Corn Exchange. I ordered direct from the venue and had to pick my tickets up on the night. It's in a small office just round the corner from the doors to the venue.

Im thinking about going to the Brixton gig. Are there any good and cheap hotels near Brixton Academy?
By near i mean like a 30 min walk or less.

All London hotels are rip-off including Holiday Inn or Premier Inn but, if you look at hostels or shared accommodation you may find a reasonable bed for not too much £.

I'm going to Eindhoven, and thinking about going to Deinze (Belgium) and Oberhausen as well.

Last year I went to the Düsseldorf show, and it was fucking great! Those Germans sure know how to rock out. The crowd was a lot more fun then at the show in Zwolle (Holland).

Anyone had Leicester tickets yet? I see on the MHB page on Facebook a load of other venues have sent tickets out alreadybut not had Leicester yet though. I know it's early but if other venues are sending them now I wondered if Leicester were too. I got Brixton already, but that's cause I ordered a printable version.

Me and a mate just got our tickets for the Brixton and the Bristol show. I always enjoy the british shows (being danish myself) and look very much forward to seing the boys in Bristol, where I've never been before (we've attended the London shows since 2005 I think).

Otherwise, I noticed that UDR has also listed a date for Bern, Switzerland. As I live in Switzerland I will naturally be there, but so far I only have UDR's word for it. Does anyone know which agency books Motorhead for Switzerland? Neither Goodnews nor Free & Virgin have a listing so far.

Ok, so the promoter for the December 7 gig in Berne, Switzerland is Taifun Music. Got their flyer today, but no on sale date yet.

The event in question is now called "Metal Christmas Festival" and hopefully this one too will be a Motorhead headliner show.

I think it's normal for Motorhead to have 2 bands open up for them when they headline.

In 1982 Krokus and Fist opened up for them and when I saw them last year 2 bands opened up for them again. I think part of the reason Motorhead does this is because they don't do a really long set and they want to give the audience their money's worth of entertainment. To tell you the truth though, I'm not really a big fan of having 2 opening acts especially when they are groups I've never heard of. In 82 I enjoyed the Krokus segment (I had seen them before during the 'Metal Rendezvous' tour - that album is quite good BTW)

...that's why I think 2011 UK tour was spot on with support. Best combo I ever had in 1 night.

I'd rather see more Motorhead and less support act, like all of us I'm sure. If the alternative to 3 bands is a shortened night out though, then I'll take a trio. Can't say I know the openers but I love Anthrax, and I'm thoroughjly looking forward to their set. You guys who prefer the punk stuff can sit it out at the bar, just like some of us metalheads did last year. Then we can all unite for the main event. Can't wait.

I've had tickets through them once or twice. Never had a problem and, whilst I can't say exactly how fast they send them, I always have the tickets way in advance of the gig.

I rang Leicester a couple of months ago, when everyone started saying the tickets were being recieved for other dates. A lady at their box office checked my order details, explained that there must have been some sort of admin error with my particular order and that I should have had them already, apologised that I hadn't had them and posted them straight away. I got them a few days later. I would strongly advise you call the box office, as clearly there is some wider issue regards sending the tickets, than just mine being delayed.

I ordered all mine through Ticketmaster. I've just checked my order history which says, Leicester tickets not yet despatched.
Other nine gigs says Tickets are been processed, but i've received eight of them, waiting for Bristol. Don't seem a very good set up.

I was one of the first half dozen in queue when tickets first came on sale { I'm an old fashioned buy at the box office bloke } I could have had front row but experience has taught me row M is the one to go for at city hall,that's the row with a very big gap in front of it and the sound is much better there too.

Just got in from Leicester. Great gig. No Sacrifice or Are you Ready, Dr Rock instead though. Which is always nice. Only one encore, Overkill obviously, so no Orgasmatron. Not sure why as we appeared well within the curfew time. Anyway, great night with Rock It a real highlight. Can't wait to see that again Saturday.

Well after Lemmy's finger incident last year, when they had to pull the Bristol gig, I expect Bomber, Orgasmatron, Iron Fist, Sacifice, Civil War, I Don't Believe A Word, at the very least.
