Ok, well... I am thinking that for me maybe Lemmy is tired and doesn't scratching his arse like he used to. Ok, the quality isn't as good so maybe Lemmy is tired and should stick to in the studio scratching his arse... Ok, maybe it was bad luck or something... hm... but for me I think maybe no more live arse scratching albums?

Also, if they would put out Vol. 2 as a DVD separate from the CD like a CD and also a separate DVD that would be great. For me.

I agree that releasing some old concerts that haven't been released before would be great. They probably have lots of material just from the festivals that they always do.

I wasn't a big fan of the black and white concert either. I would have preferred color but even in black and white, I think it would have looked nicer with more contrast and stark lighting. Making it black and white, they did something different though, so I can't fault them for that.

What would look great (but would be expensive) would be to shoot a concert on film rather than video. You can use the Led Zeppelin film 'the Song Remains the Same' for an idea of that it would look like. Very rich and vivid colors. I am a filmmaker though and I realize that shooting on film can be very expensive, so I don't expect them or too many other bands to try that.

Well, it's not news exactly and it's not very important either but I just finished watching the latest episode of House (you know House I guess...) and a snippet of "Ace Of Spades" sounds during a road trip that House and Wilson do.

Just in case...

German TV-station EinsPlus is going to do the usual live-broadcast from "Rock am Ring" from friday (next week, june 1st) 'til sunday. Motörhead are scheduled to play friday night (or better early saturday morning), 00:10 h 'til 01:20 h.

No idea if they broadcast it though, couldn't find detailed info on the stations page... But as they did so last year, and as they usually are not allowed to broadcast the mainstage-headliner (Linkin Park that night), they have almost no other option than broadcasting MH...

just back from sonissphere in switzerland. Golden circles? Who invented that? Can't imagine it's Lemmy as I had him down for a working class type of bloke. Anyway if your're not in the golden circles 20 deep at the bar ditto for the bogs. Very dissapointed walked out before the gig. Don't think I will be a Motorhead fan anymore. Can only assume it is some kind of metallica bullshit. Golden Circles? Why not call it motorhead tax and chummy up with Cameron. Lemmy I am ashamed of you.

Well golden circle is a fantastic way for the promotör, :=) , to earn even more money for the tickets... I can understand if they sometime need a fence between the crowd (when there´s lots of people) regarding security. If they can charge ten quid extra for 500 or 1000 tickets they will take that chance, greedy bastards...
Looking forward to this years festival set-list, let´s at least hope for one or two odd ones, IRON HORSE and DIE YOU BASTARD for example...

Owen, i understand your disappointment. But then...

First: Switzerland is an expensive country.

Second: right from the start, the promoters told people about limited access to certain areas and they also did not keep "golden circle tickets" a secret (btw., they have been around 30 SFr more than regular tix). Makes me wonder why you did not collect info in advance, but complain afterwards?

Third: it does not help to place the same post over and over again.

Personally, i was thinking about going and changed plans after i found out about general ticket-prices (~ 120 €) and golden circle, so i see your point though...
