Non-Motorhead today;

My Saxon 'Eagles Over Wacken' boxset has finally arrived after some unfortunate delays due to a manufacturing error, and what a lovely box it is. Three full Wacken shows, lovely textile flag, a CD of a show from last year's tour and a sliver ticket to get loads of extra online content all wrapped up in an LP-sized black and gold box. £60 well spent.

I was eyeing that up myself. sadly budget cuts mean I will probably have to settle for the standard version. Did you get a ticket in yours?

Did anyone see these 2 badges on ebay ? It's the most i've seen a MH badge sell for. This one is the rarer of the 2 and i think it's a promo from Bronze i cannot remember this being for sale as part of the tour merch back in 1979. But for £66.00 an expensive purchase. It's a nice looking item with the watch button fob and press stud pin.

This one is stamped up as a tour badge from 1980. This was not part of the merch and this ended up being made a good few years after that tour. Like alot of badges on ebay that are new but listed as old stock, vintage tour merch etc. But for £122.00 i would of wanted the genuine article.

Don't remember either of those badges from the tours.
I have both the Bomber and Ace Up Your Sleeve tour badges.
There was at least 2 for bomber:
One grey plastic in the shape of a bomb with the word "Bomber" on it,and the other is a 1 inch round badge again with the bomb and word bomber on it.
Ace of spades badge is again a 1 inch round badge witha black ace of spades on it.
They also had a battle green Overkill badge for sale on the Bomber tour in 3d,also happily still in my collection smile

I got the silver ticket, which means I get access to online content. 10 golden tickets will be in 10 random boxes granting whoever gets them a chance to see Saxon as much as they like live for life.

I didn't realise it was tickets for life. Now that really would be £60 well spent. I may have to recheck my finances.

I finaly got round to ordering a copy of Sheep in Wolves' Clothing, which came yesterday. I actually bought it to support the hard work Alan and all at MHB HQ do, more than in anticipation of an album that would be my bag. Truth is, I really like it. I played it through last night and again in the car this morning, and it's got some corking (truly) alternate versions of some classic Motorhead songs. I would heartily recommend anyone who doesn't own a copy pops over to the MHB site and grabs one, as Alan assures me they are rapidly running out. For me, it's worth the price just for The Underbelly's take on Back at the Funny Farm. Priceless.
