I played it through last night and again in the car this morning, and it's got some corking (truly) alternate versions of some classic Motorhead songs. I would heartily recommend anyone who doesn't own a copy pops over to the MHB site and grabs one, as Alan assures me they are rapidly running out. For me, it's worth the price just for The Underbelly's take on Back at the Funny Farm. Priceless.

Yeah i got a copy a while back and really enjoy it as well, its good to hear other takes on Motorhead classics...

I didn't realise it was tickets for life. Now that really would be £60 well spent. I may have to recheck my finances.

Good lukc, mate, it's sold out from both retailers. And @Terentek, I guess Alan had nothing to do with the worthiness of purchasing that SIWC album? grin

It's a nice looking item with the watch button fob and press stud pin.

This one is stamped up as a tour badge from 1980. This was not part of the merch and this ended up being made a good few years after that tour. Like alot of badges on ebay that are new but listed as old stock, vintage tour merch etc. But for £122.00 i would of wanted the genuine article.

I don't know what it is but over the last two or three years items by bands I collect not just Motorhead have gone insane in terms of price and so many of these items are not even rare but people pay mad prices just because the seller says they are. It seems so many collectors don't do their research any more!

Have you found it like this or is it just me???

Just in this week.

A pair of reel to reel Motorhead master tapes from 1983.

These things are ultra rare as I'm sure you all know and are so heavy you would not believe, they each weight almost 4.5KG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately they are not masters for any Motorhead album which would be the holy grail of Motorhead masters!!

They are for a soundtrack to a film called She, Motorhead did some tracks for it. One of them has the tracks and the other has the out takes.

These are 30 I . P. S reel to reel tapes which are the best you can get and used in professional sound recording as they are the highest professional speed, each one can hold about twenty two minutes of music.

They cost me £124 which is an absolute steal. I got them from an auction house I know and they were part of a lot of 40 reel to reel tapes all of this size.

This is the sort of stuff I love the most when it comes to collecting, totally rare and totally obscure and from a line-up in their history that was not exactly together for long.
