I sent a email to ace about a black jean MH jacket, they didn't have the size I ordered in stock so the next size down was sent (why this is a policy I don't know). I still haven't heard back from either, but I had to ask the postal worker to check the back for me since the package was really late, and bamm she came back to the counter with it, maybe try that mate. I hope you get your item brother.

Now that's the tough part. I researched everything I could before I purchased them and I found out about the studios where the tracks were put down, the film company they were done for, the film and even information on the engineer.

However the name of the tracks as of yet I have been unable to find!!

There are two tracks on the first tape and they are entitled on the box where all the recording information is.

These are called:-

1:- Lemmys Tune
2:- Robbos Tune

The second tape has the track listed as Robbos tune (out takes).

One would imagine that if they were old Motorhead tracks that they re-recording for the film that they would have the name of them on the track listing but seeing as they don't I would think that these are tracks they specifically did for the film.

It seems that the only way I will find out what these tracks are is by either buying a reel to reel player to play them or getting a copy of the film, seeing as its a lot cheaper I will buy the film.

When I do and I find out what they are I will let you know.

Your best bet would be to book a short session in a studio so you can transfer them. In the film the there would only likely be parts of the songs. Copying them from your tape would probably be the best way to hear them.

Robbo's outtakes might be incidental music for specific scenes.

I am a filmmaker so I have some experience with tapes like this but I normally know the musician as I'm usually the one asking for the music.

Another thing about your tape is that it may not be mixed, so different instruments would likely be on separate channels.

You may need to find a copy of the film though to find the official names of the tracks.

If you call around you should be able to find a studio to make a copy and it likely won't be too expensive since most studios are going digital.
You would just need to explain what you have (it looks like 1 inch tape in the photos but I could be wrong). Don't say anything about not owning the copyright as they may be reluctant to copy it. Say something like you're working with a filmmaker and need a copy on another format.

I just looked at the pictures again and they look like they are actually 2 inch tape. Machines for 2 inch tapes still can cost a small fortune to buy as only recording studios use that format.
If it is unmixed, one of the cool things will be that you can isolate the tracks, such as Lemmy's bass and it would be cool to hear what it sounds like by itself.

That is fantastic information mate, thanks so much, stupidly it never occurred to me to book a session in a studio!!

I'll have to get onto this for sure and you are right they are 2 inch tapes.
