Haha no it was after a gig, and it was my girlfriends dad.

What year would this have been? The reason I ask is because he had chipped teeth for a quite a while.

Lemmy had chipped teeth even in the Hawkwind era. If it was after a show, security is usually around plus many bikers like the Hell's Angels are at the shows, so your story could be true but I would have imagined that someone there would have beat up your father. I'm not trying to put down your father but I would imagine that he didn't make it home without being attacked.

She says it was in the hawkwind era. It was in west Birmingham where there weren't any bikers around at the time. There wasn't any big ruckus or anything, they both got seperated and went back to doing their own things. It was girlfriends dad, not mine.

Well that could explain his Hawkwind era teeth...

There was me thinking it was speed that was responsible for the state of his gnashers for all these years. Well, you learn something new every day, don't you?! I must say that guy was very ungrateful. He should have been honoured or at least flattered that his girlfriend was having her doubtlessly ample bosom marked for posterity with the Kilmister monicker... Maybe the marker was indelible?!

'Speed don't kill and that's the truth - just call me Snaggletooth!'

Speed can be used in a few different ways.

These days most people probably smoke it. Some people used to snort it. I used to know someone who used to inject it.

There was a guy that I used to work for that got into crystal meth in the 70's and he had delusions that people were depositing money in his bank account after a while. I always found that weird as you would think he would check his bank periodically to see how much money he had. He had to go to rehab in a hospital to get off it. These days he just uses weed.

The only times I used speed was in a couple of Exstacy pills that had speed mixed in them. I enjoyed them but my friend had an anxiety attack when they kicked in (I also probably weighed close to twice her weight so it wasn't that strong for me.)

I think it only affects teeth when you smoke it. I don't really know how Lemmy did it in the Hawkwind days.

Lemmy's teeth are definitely different these days but that doesn't mean he has dentures as some people have assumed. He could have had implants. I had a relative who had implants. In her case there was a lot of long term pain though as I think they drill into the bone.

Actually I thought Lemmy looked cool with the chipped tooth/teeth.
