Only we don't know is it gonna be a cover album, blues album or another classic album?

When I was talking to Mikkey Dee at the first date of the Mayhem Festival, I asked him what the future held as far as recording went. I asked if they were still going to do a cover album as Lemmy had mentioned, but he says it's something they've considered doing on and off for years now. He says it's been more talk than anything, but will always be a possibility. As far as the six songs they've got go, judging from what he told me, they're all going to be original Motorhead material once more.

Until then (probably next year) You can look out for The World Is Ours Vol. 2 by the end of this year. I'm sure most of you knew that already, though!

"We are gonna finish our studio album. We have a lot of songs done already. It's not finished. We're gonna keep writing and we'll record it next year, and it will come out next year."

you know a new album of new tunes would be great, i was also thinking that a new album of totally motorized cover tunes would be pretty cool too. I'm sure Lemmy and the boys have their own favorites, but i might suggest a few myself like:

Cities on Flame - the classic heavy monster from BOC's 'On Your Feet or On Your Knees' live album.
Eve of Destruction - classic anti-war by Barry McGuire.
Barbed Wire by Link Wray (also known as Run, Chicken, Run), they could do it as an instrumental or Lemmy could add lyrics (maybe "Run, Bastard, Run"!).
Dio - I Speed at Night.
Twenty Flight Rock - was that Gene Vincent?
Bangin' Man - Slade.
Ballroom Blitz - The Sweet, hey what the hell why not.
Modern Times Rock and Roll - Queen - pretty already in the Motorhead style anyhow.
I'd suggest a Ramones song but they've already recorded RAMONES twice already.
My Baby Left Me - Elvis & others (actually thinking more of the live Slade version).
Seven Drunken Nights - traditional.
Mean Woman Blues - Roy Orbison.
I'd hesitate to suggest The Beatles, who've been done to death in covers, but there's always I am the Walrus.

Motörhead are thinking of making a double cd. One CD with new own tracks and on the other CDs just cover (maybe with one of ABBA)

I knew it! I was thinkin they would make double cd, on one covers, on the other blues songs acoustic - their songs or new. But this is not bad combination either.
