Quiet day at Download yesterday, only really bothered with Machine Head in the end. Leedsmark was gutted though when they announced Europe hadn't made it from the airport and had to cancel.

This year's festival, in my opinion, is one of the better ones they've done. Friday had a fair few good bands on; Fear Factory, Skindred (Played Friday and are playing Saturday too), Slash, Machine Head, I would've even gone and seen Prodigy as I like their darker stuff. All in all it's actually a lineup where they've tried to please fans off all ages and preferences, all three days have at least three or four bands I'd go and see. I would've banned Black Veil Brides from even entering the country, but that's just me.

judas priest and saxon tore hammersmith apart and sent it into orbit the other week, hell of a show, then Lynyrd Skynyrd did much the same the week after, excellent performance from them. good times!
