Not aggressive at all im just saying Lemmys voice has been the same for years...its changed alot since they began but still sounds great and to expect a sudden return the Overkill days is daft.....

And as much as I would like to deny it and say I like Motorhead lives, I must say Volume 2 will be in my possession only if I get it as a gift. I don't really see any point of owning two almost EXACT records with not so different production at all.

You know how I know? I've listened to Volume 2. And although it's a cool gig, huge respect for the band, but it's not anything way too bombastic.

And yeah... Not trying to offend no German Motorheadbangers over here, but if we compare crowds on Stagefright DVD and those awesome people from Chile... Chile was a great DVD. Someone probably had a problem with it being shot in B/W, but the atmosphere of it is outstanding. I've took a look at Volume 2 preview and the first thing I see (off the Wacken show): bunch of kids looking like they're stoned and beaten to death in the front row, watching helplessly while Motorhead rips through the "Bomber". I really don't need that at all.

I'll pick this up on vinyl if the price drops I paid £12.99 delivered on Amazon last year for volume one but the price for volume two all seems to be around the £20.00 mark.
I also brought the CD / DVD edition last time around might give it a miss this time and be happy having the vinyl next to volume two on the shelf.

sorry mate, that's exactly where we disagree. Sure, Lemmys voice is not what it used too be and that's for quite some time now. I've seen the band every year and last year (Zurich) was extremely weak. For the first!

In 2009 I've filmed them in Hammersmith and I think Lemmys voice was pretty good there:

I agree! (I wonder if it´s the band that really want to put out all this live stuff...? Perhaps the Shiraz wine isn´t selling good enough...)

All I can say is 2nd to last day of Mayhem Lem sounded really good, I think it may be due to not smoking.
