There is no chance in hell that I´m gonna buy this. We need a new STUDIO album and a solo album from Lemmy. I´m getting pretty pissed off with all these live rip-offs. With a back catalouge like Motörheads, they should change the setlist.

how can it be a rip-off? Everyone knows what's to be expected. Nobody is forced to buy that stuff...

again lemmys voice sound not so brilliant as on the stage fright dvd. of course his voice changed in this 7-8 years, but again, the voice is not well mixed. pretty mushy with no clear heights. -.- it can not be that hard to mix his voice. wtf

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Xo9C9GSGyog Thanks for posting But dunno, to me it seems like somebody (management or whoever) desperately wants to make 'em look bigger than they are. I think they're not a band for festivals that huge, imo the closer the contact with the crowd is, the better they are. Especially the footage from Rio, i mean, they are like a mile away from and about 10 metres above the crowd... Just my two cents though.

All this 'bigger and shinier' thing just makes it all look more like Kiss. Also, what do you guys think about Cameron Webb, Lemmy living in US (and therefore attracting some americanized choices for the band), management, marketing targets, designs and archetypes, initial image of the band VS. today's image of the band and etc... I mean the whole influential thing. Has it been the really best for Motorhead's image/brand for the past lets say 8-10 years? It is something that gets me thinking sometimes...

wow.....after seeing that teaser on youtube I actually will reconsider buying Vol2. Although I've seen Motörhead live last year, I didn't realize that Lemmys voice is THAT bad. That Bomber performance is Is that the reason why Lemmy stopped smoking?

Motorhead is, in my mind, an indoors band. The only good outdoors performance I ever heard from them in recent years was Rock am Ring in 2004, and even that wasn't perfect. Motorhead's approach to sound is best suited to a reasonably-sized indoor environment, not so small that the volume just kills everything, but not so big that the sound is travelling too far. Festival mixer operators never do the band justice, either the drums sound crap, the guitar and bass blend or the guitar is just buried except for solos, or there's so much white noise that it ruins it, especially if the recordings haven't been laboured over.

It can't be worse more than vol 1. But it is true, again Lemmy have problems singing, inside song you can hear when Lemmy sings song become little bit slower than instrumental part of the song is little bit faster almost normal. However, I think this will be better than vol 1. Older they are worse they will be, that's normal. Only thing is time when Lemmy will say: Ok that's it. Retirement.
