Yesterday I attended to Joe Bonamassa's show. Amazing. One of the best show I've ever seen.
I've never seen any Joe Bonamassa shows (yet) but he is a big music and guitar fan and he makes regular posts on some of the guitar forums like the LesPaulForum (under an alias).
Slash and Geezer Butler... Nice show. Better than a couple of years ago!
Next show(s): Sweden rock festival, with Motörhead on friday! :=)
That would have been a great show to see but I feel bad/sad about what's happening with Tony Iommi's health (I've heard from people close to him that he's in worse condition than most people know).

Very sad news, Vortexx. I was sure he was doing it ok.
We saw Sabbath last night, and i know you cant really tell, but he looked ok,played brilliantly, and overall Sabbath were awesome. So fingers crossed for the Iron Man.

I haven't got an update in a few weeks so I'm really hoping he will be OK. I learned how to play guitar by learning lots of Black Sabbath songs when I was a teenager and I have a guitar made by the same guy who built Tony's in the 70's. I haven't had a chance to take any pictures yet but here is a shot sent to me while my guitar was almost finished. Beside it with the worn finish is a backup he was building for Tony Iommi at the time.
Tony's original was transparent black which looks different under different lighting. It looks a little purple in this shot.

Maybe he had an off night or it wasn't your mate's thing. I saw him a couple of years back and he was incredible. Never bummed a note and yet wasn't 'mechanical' about his playing. He played from the heart with real feeling. Very good player, one of the best ever i.m.o.
