Hey Myusername... I am sorry you feel disappointed, but I am so glad that you enjoyed a great Motorhead gig.
It does sound like a rip-off. I am old enough to remember when in the late 70's, early 1980's, if you hung around early enough, you would get pulled into the soundcheck for free and have a drink with the band. It happened to me at The Heavy Metal Barn Dance July 1980... I will never forget that... and a few other lesser occasions. I find the vip a little strange also, when I first see motorhead bomber tour "west runton cromer" the pub was on the grounds of the venue lemmy came in played fruit machine people just looked said hi and carried on drinking. Then Eddie come in same story, was like this on bomber, ace of spades,Iron fist,Another perfect day tour. Now you have to pay to be in the same room lol.

I don't know what you people are moaning about tbh. It is indeed clear that the old days are over, so why complain about efforts to at least somewhat mitigate this? As for the things you didn't get, you should have paid attention when you signed up / paid. Also, surprises can happen, as those going to Bern tonight know.

Hello
Why not buying it? IMHO it is just not worth 107usd and there are better ways to spend that amount of money. But I was there and: you receive a bandana (looks good), red VIP badge which gives nothing (I still do not understand why they give it) and the photo of band - signed by P&M. Soundcheck - it was just a more or less typical soundcheck. First M spend some time with his drums, then came P and together they played 'Another brick in the wall' and 'Money for nothing', and then came L, they played together about 2 minutes, L said that it is ok for him and he disappeared. M stayed for a short chat and it was over.
so was your photo only signed mikkey & phil then and not LEMMY ???......... mine was fully signed................

Now that the Bern gig is over? What did we miss?

Well, the official story anyway is that as there "was no sound check", which I suppose means it would've been logistically too complicated to admit fans as there were five bands on the bill tonight, so no sound check admittance. Instead, we got to stand stage right (on stage) during the entire Motorhead set. It was still a no pics, no drinks, etc. affair, but a much better deal IMO. This proves to me again what great people the band and Singerman are. No lame "sorry" + refund, but a better alternative! Great set (again) and many a sign of acknowledgment from the band. So I remain in the opinion that $100 is not much at all for random strangers to be allowed this close to the band, something normally reserved for only the most diehard fans. I'm grateful because I know Lemmy, Phil and Mikkey work very hard to put the music, and us fans, before the business.

Yes, only 2 signatures that sucks mate.......... i would have had to say something to someone about that....... i would definitely contact them! A (similar)-ish thing happened to me when i bought a signed book from the states - the artist had only written his first name (Todd) - when i got in touch with the publisher , they paid to have the book returned and sent a fully signed one back out. as much as everyone likes Mikkey and Phil - Motorhead is a one man band!
