I just read on celebritynetworth.com that Lemmy is worth $30 million dollars, yet he says he is not a millionaire. What do you think?

He said that he keeps the apartment in LA for the the fact that it's cheap and it's near the Rainbow where he likes to hang out. He could afford a decently-sized house in pretty much any country he wants, but his apartment is cheap and where he likes to be.

these things are always a load of rubbish - they rely on liquidating all assets immeiately at top prices. he'll certainly be worth a few quid in royalties alone

I've googled the question and the amount varied from 10 million. To 30/40 million dollars.either way it is not much compared to what some are worth!!!

I have a hard time believing $30 million! As much as we love their albums, none are ever in the top... 100? Hell, is Britney Spears even worth $30 million?! Still, I WISH Lemmy, Mikkey & Phil were ALL worth $30 million!!!

There's no way Lemmy will be worth anything like the figures being bandided about. He'll be pretty comfortable I would imagine, but the band needs to keep touring to maintain income levels.

he once said that he made more money from royalties for the songs he wrote for Ozzy than he ever made with Motörhead. However, that was some time ago and I assume that the band is running a pretty good business nowadays.

Even liquidating all assets at top whack I doubt the entire band would be worth $30 million. They have by reput invested a lot in haveing fun, apart from that it must cost a fortune to run a band on a world tour! Comfotable yes , multi- millionaires not a chance!

Also I expect they will put money to charity without looking for praise in return and still get thier balls chewed by the taxman!
