If i was wanting to be such an audiofile with wanting to get all me albums signed by the correct members i'd have a long wait. What's Phil Taylor doing these days ?. Answers on a postcard. Mikkey didn't refuse to sign it. I love the cover design, and its going in a frame with my other stuff i've collected over the years. I'll get Lemmy to sign it next year. Lemmy would only sign one item i was lucky to get both the dressing room sign and me book signed.

Cheers Mrcamm, When you've been to a few shows you get to know the band's habits and the times of soundcheck etc. I was going to head up to the gig for the band arriving at 11am i think the load in started at 9am. The band can start going into the gig from about 11am - 3pm but if you want to catch them i would say from anytime in that 4 hours. I didn't have to wait long about 2 hours. Phil Campbell was the first one from the tour bus then Lemmy then Mikkey. Just hang about the backstage door area near the tour bus and you'll get to meet the band.
Or you can see them after the gig which can be a waiting game, especially if they have a day off the next day.

I have met Phil on a few occasions, and Lemmy too...(stretching back to 1979) .. just by hanging about after the gig, or asking the security staff for a pass if you are cheeky enough and early enough in the day.
I even met Eddie Clarke after a gig or two in my teens.

But, I have NEVER met Mikkey, nor have I ever SEEN him backstage or going to/from the tour bus.
I now think he is a machine that they assemble as part of the stage!

I never met Mikkey but after one show I saw him in the front of the bus lounging without shoes or socks. I'm sure I could have met him if I knocked on the door but there was a really bad snowstorm. I was somewhat in shock as that was the day Lemmy put me on the guestlist and gave me an aftershow pass. I never got to meet him due to the dumb staff. In hindsight, had I knocked on the bus' door and told Mikkey about what happened, Lemmy would have probably come to the front. I was really in shock though at that point. I would have normally yelled at the staff member and I didn't even do that.
