So Sacrifice is now in the thick of the set, but not with Mikkey's solo I believe. Shame as the song lends itself so well to the solo, and I would prefer to hear The One To Sing The Blues just played through with no break.

My first ever post on here guys, although I have been obsessed with Motorhead since the Overkill tour. (Yes I am an ancient 48 years old)
I was there in Manchester last night, and despite being drunk after many hours in the Apsley Pub next door, I was surprised NOT to hear 'Get back in Line'
Seeing as it is STILL the 'World is Yours' tour?

no, I know how to die was opener.
they seemed much more into it / chattier last night. Lemmy was really quite good humoured, taking the piss out of the people at the front shouting - in a good way!

They're always chatty at Newcastle - I haven't seen them at many other venues other than Newcastle, but they always seem keen to banter with the audience. They didn't even count to 3 and 4 last night they just asked us to make noise :p
Great gig. Over the moon I heard Rock It live

Doctor rock was in instead of sacrifice last night, only overkill as an encore.I know how to die as an opener which i thought was very good as i also had it down as a weak starter

What? 'I Got Mine' has been dropped? Damnnnnnnnn, that's my all-time favourite song just for the killer opening riff.

Looking forward to hearing Orgasmatron though, never heard that one live. smile

Hehe, so even though they're basically playing the same songs, it's good to see them shaking things up a bit order-wise.

I wonder if girls will come on during Killed By Death as they usually do, or perhaps a bit earlier?

At any rate, Rock It is gonna be EXCELLENT to hear!

No Orgasmatron at Portsmouth last night :-(

Notable mentions for; Rock it, Chase is better than the Catch, Are You Ready (Lizzy), Hoochie Coochie Man. Excellent show, as usual.

Hoochie Coochie Man? Surely you mean 'You Better Run?' .. its basically the same song though, just different lyrics.

At Manchester we got Rock It, AND Orgasmatron.... Lemmy is spoiling us!

It makes no sense to drop Orgasmatron, one of Motorheads greatest ever moments, and one the fans favourite songs?
I'd prefer they dropped Metropolis or Ace Of Spades even, at the cost of Orgasmatron.
Please, please play it in Bristol chaps?

i'd prefer them to drop ace of spades. hate that song for so many reasons. (mainly as soon as you say motorhead to someone, all you ever fucking hear is aos!)

And sadly the Kronenbourg ad sort of reinforced the AoS point, much as i love it. Wouldn't be gutted to see it dropped for a tour, but understand it won't be. Maiden drop Run to the Hills periodically and it always seems to frustrate people

Maiden dropped Hallowed Be Thy name on the last tour and didn't play RTTH, first time I saw them they didn't play The Trooper. They don't exactly mix it up once the setlist is sorted, but they aren't frightened to drop some of the bigger songs in the 1st place. They do have one or two sacred cows themselves though to be fair. Can you imagine them not playing Iron Maiden for example?

For me, I can't imagine seeing Motorhead without Stay Clean and Overkill, although Overkill could be shifted in the set order for me if they ended with something suitably strong like Bomber or Motorhead for example. Apart from that I would be cool if anything was dropped. AoS, Killed By Death, etc... love the songs but fine if they want to lose them.

to be fair, i get excited by the reappearance of some of the old album tracks, rock it is a real treat this time round.Overkill replaced as final encore by Motorhead would certainly work, but i guess mixing it up and dropping songs occasionaly keeps it fresh for them, so fair play.

re: maiden , i think once their setlist is sorted its pretty much unchangeable for the tour due to the size of the bloody production, can you imagine MH with that many backdrops/?!!
Off to Paris on tues for show weds, can't bloody wait

15 songs of which 1 ain't MH tune. i'm not impressed at all, it looked much better at start with sacrifice and orgasmatron as 2 classic massive tunes
