I got myself a Digitech pedal a while back, RP355, and I have to say it is shit hot. I wanted a pedal that I could use to create sounds (process the guitar input), use with an Amp but also with a computer to record messing about/doodling. Digitech was my choice and I am very pleased (BOSS/ROLAND were on my list but they did not have a driver for Vista 64bit).The pedal came with Cubase LE which is good for recording onto your PC.
I had some spare cash so I got a BOSS Micro-BR 4 track digital recorder which is also a bad little box.

Sounds VERY nice Nic.
Have used Cubase SX for many years now.
Excellent home recording software

I am well pleased with them both. I like the Digitech because you save a file of the settings on the pedal and load them up instantly to get the sound back.
