Leonard Cohen for 4 hours.
That must be boring...

As Lemmy said in Manchester last year: "It doesn´t matter what the paper say it is. There´s only two kinds of music: Music you like. And music you don´t like"

Regarding the setlist we see proof that all the fans REALLY like it when f.e. ROCK IT or YOU BETTER RUN is in the set. That is, songs that haven´t or very seldoms been played. And with the back catalouge they have, why not put in MORE songs they haven´t played? This year we got DOCTOR ROCK back, a song they´ve played too many times. Last year, JUST COS YOU GOT THE POWER, another song we´re sick to death with. And I KNOW HOW TO DIE this year again! (Third year in a row) they MUST have others songs to fill the setlist with! And of course we´ve all hears STAY CLEAN, METROPOLIS, OVER THE TOP, BRAZIL, KILLED etc year after year after year...! I just think it´s a shame they don´t deliver some other goodies, maybe they´re getting bored and just want to get the show over with so they can go back to the bus and read their books on their ipads or whatever...

Not all songs are easy to play live. Lemmy had an hand injury last year because of playing songs that demand too much. And I think most people are happy with the current setlist. I mean, they can't please everyone 100%. Having Rock It back was a great present to me.

As far as I can recall Lemola cut his finger, not because some songs were too hard to play.

Also; "Having Rock Itback was a great present to me" Well, there you see... We want the odd stuff, not all the classics tour after tour...

In Lemmy's biography he goes out of his way to say that the band would drop Ace of Spades and others, but they would be lynched by fans if they dropped the classics.
In my opinion, it doesn't matter WHAT they play, just as long as they continue playing.
Anyone who truly loves Motorhead would never criticise any setlist.
Just be grateful that this phenomenon is STILL PLAYING at all!

The setlist is a joke. I didn't even bother to go to the Brixton gig this year and it's only a half hour bus ride from my house. It's boring hearing the same stuff over and over.

AGREE!!!
I`m loyal to the band,
no matter what they play as long as they play.
Still the setlist is good year after year.
MOTÖRHEAD visit here so rarely we respect the band,
just only they exist.
We stand by the band to the end.
LEMMY lives forever, long after we all are gone.
Motörhead is like religion.
Like Lemmy once said;
Rock`n roll is only true religion.

I first saw Motorhead in Aberdeen with Saxon supporting in the late 70's.
I then went to uni in Edinburgh in 1980 and saw the Iron Fist Tour. This was in a massive old cinema. The support band came and went and they shut the old cinema curtains.
Lights dimmed.
Cheers went up.
Curtains opened.
Nothing there. Just this masssive gauntlet opening and closing to a fist. An Iron Fist.
AND THEN Motorhead came down from the ceiling !!!!
The whole fucking stage lifted up on steel cables 50 - 60 feet.
The crowd went mental.
I have seen them nearly every UK tour since then.
I lived in Southend for a long time and saw them there and in Cambridge and in London.
I now live in Margate and saw them last year in Southampton and this year in Brixton.
You know what ? Once I get my ticket I still look so forwrd to seeing them again.
I first saw Motorhead when i was 17. I am now 50. I have a good well paid job and my life is pretty good. But the only thing constant in it has been Motorhead.
Girlfriends come and go.
Friends move away.
Parents die.
But for me Motorhead, actually Lemmy, has always been there.
So when some twat comes on this forum and says that he "only lives a half hour from Brixton" and he can't be bothered going to see them .... I am glad .... REALLY GLAD ... cos it means a real fan got the pricks ticket !!

Great words my friend, Amen to that!
Motörhead has always been there for me so i`m always there for the band so to speak.
So why not come out and support the band and have a good night out?!
I travelled from Sweden (once again) to see the band play at Brixton and i had a great night.
Seen the band around 40 times by now and they have never let me down.
Of course some nights are better then others but that goes for all bands i think.

Cheers to everybody out there!

Daniel/Sweden
