Any other cover songs such as "Hellraiser" and "Enter sandman" you would like to hear performed by Motorhead.

I would like to hear "Dirty deeds, (done dirt cheap)" originally performed by ACDC.

Hellraiser's not really a cover. Lemmy co-wrote it. Also, the band never covered Enter Sandman. Your thinking of the Zebrahead cover featuring Lemmy.

Off the top of my head, I'd like to hear them cover AC/DC's 'Touch Too Much'.

Summertime Blues. Lemmy could definitely hit the low notes on the 'Like to help you son, but you're too young to vote' line!

How about 'Kick Out The Jams (Motherfuckers)' from the MC5 or Neat Neat Neat from the Damned?

Great song so it would be a great cover for sure... most of you don`t like GNR but imo they recorded a good version of this song

lemmy talking about abba (article in german):
http://www.mobil.morgenpost.de/kultur/ar...-Heulsusen.html

i'll try and re-translate the part about abba from the german article into english again:
***
- do you still think about making a cover-album?
- i thought about it, but i still don't know.
- would you then like to record an abba-song? you like abba, don't you?
- sure, they have great singles. even if you hate abba, you sing their songs walking down the street. i admire that. but adapting an abba-song to our style will be difficult. "Take A Chance On Me", maybe ...
- my favourite abba-song is "fernando". but perhaps it's a bit too cheesy ("kitschig") ...
- oh, never mind! good cheese still is good. that's why they got away with those outfits. they looked like bloody clowns.
***

i found it funny cos i always thought that "waterloo" would really be a great song for motorhead to cover (just think of "my, my, at waterloo napoleon surrendered ...").

I believe Lemmy already guested on a version of Waterloo by Dr & The Medics. He was also in the promo for The Ramones' version of that great Who song 'Substitute' which they could do a great version of if they tried. However, if it has to be Abba I want them to do SOS with some gorgeous backing singers. Phil coul also do his party piece in the video and dress up as Agnetha! I doubt it would be difficult to convince him. Does Your Mother Know? would also be a great cover for them to attempt.

The Restart's version of Does Your Mother Know is cracking good, Abba songs are always a good idea for new cover versions.

Doubtful, as Lemmy has made it clear what he thinks of them a number of times over the years. I like some of their tunes myself but like most bands they were really patchy in places, eg anything off Sandinista ... Can you think of any of their songs that would be in his vocal range?

The best covers are acoustic covers of songs they made heavy. Motorhead by Motorhead, the best!!

I would definately like to hear this song to be Motörheaderized:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sh6N4XC3lK4

this version has better acoustic:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iSmaLG_PTjs

Celtic Bones has made a cover but it sounds wayyy too clean. It needs Lemmys rough vocal and every other features only MH can provide ;-).
I find the speed and energy as the common factor between MH and this Finnish trio -Melrose.
