very true fester, i had an old tape of it off the Friday Rock Show that had more songs on it, but the Reading ep on the CD sounds glorious. One of those "wish i'd bloody been there" moments

Metallica live Nottingham FM Arena 2009. I love the fact you can buy any Metallica gig from their website, meaning I can buy decent quality recordings of all the gigs I see them at. Imagine if other bands like Motorhead did this.

It would put bootleggers out of business!

Listening to 1 or 2 of the bootlegs I have, that might not be such a bad thing in some cases.

Watching the Stage Fright DVD again tonight... for the umpteenth time. Bollocks to the neighbours.

Yes bollocks to them. Pity they can't appreciate the nifty camera work near the end where the band take a bow.

Yes its GREAT.

I also watched the whole thing again, in the COMMENTARY mode, where the band critique each song. Its really interesting.

not watched stage fright for ages, have to dig it out soon. Tonight i am lsitening to the very brillian "StatusQuo Live" from 1976, a great shame i never got to to the Glasgow Apollo, allegedly nearly as good a venue as Hammersmith Odeon (and NOT Hammersmith fuckin APOLLO, thank you)!!!
