yeah... but it is a shame that is very hard now to save them... With Firefox there's no way... only with printscreen...

What are you talking about? I'm using FF and there is an option "save image as" under the right-click context menu...

Works fine for me as well. Even in cases where this is not possible, Firefox offers an option to list (and save) all embedded media files from a website.

I should probably add that I'm using Firefox 3.0.5 (running on Ubuntu Linux), but I think all of this was also possible in 2.x.

try clicking the thumbnails (the small images) with the right mouse-button. a window should open, offering (amongst other options) "save target as..." – saves the original, linked image, not just the thumbnail...

Yeah.. I know all possibilities to save the pics... but sometimes with right click, it is fine, comes save image as... but right after save the pic, if I try again, in the same pic, comes bookmark this link or save link as or send link or... copy link location... weird uhn? next pic sometimes I can... sometimes cannot... Have no idea why happens this...

Try to disable JavaScript. So the Lightbox-Script will not work and your browser shows the image the "normal way".
