Might not be the most exciting suggestion, especially as i'm from Germany - but i always found interesting stuff at the "Music and Video Exchange" (formerly known as "record & tape exchange") - quite conveniently located at the "Notting Hill Gate" tube station.

Mark, there is also the Book Exchange around the corner from there which belongs to them too. They have put all the music dvd's downstairs in the bookshop now. Rock section at the back upstairs. Then get the central line and get off at Tottenham Court Road or Oxford Circus. Ask for Berwick St where there is a fruit n veg market. There is another Music Exchange there but the Head goodies are at Reckless Records and Sister Ray- both on that street. Vinyl CD and good shirts and dvd's at the latter. Do a google walking directions to make life easier for yourself. There is also a great music book shop at the sleazy end of the street with cabins downstairs for Mary Ann With The Shaky Hand!

Oh and outside Oxford Circus station there was HMV- not sure if it is closed now but they had some new Head vinyl there recently very keenly priced. Up the other end across rd fromTottenham Court Rd tube is Hanway St. There are two record shops on that tiny st. Both worth an eye.

Out of Camden Town tube on the northern line turn right onto Camden High St. Turn right into what was the Electric Ballroom there is a guy who has a stall of vinyl and CDs with the occasional Head goodie. Go back onto the High St and cross the road onto Inverness St. Out On The Floor has a reasonable selection downstairs. Back onto CHS again and A few yards on your right is another Music Exchange but not usually good for Motörhead. Still on the right before Camden Lock bridge go downstairs where it is noisy. Wade through the Goth stuff and you will find a few albums. Back outside and over the bridge inside Stables market there are a couple of record stalls but look out for the DVD guy who has some live stuff you would like but not cheap at 15 quid a pop.

I will recommend Camden Town too. There are stalls in the Stables Market and also exchange shops on the high street. I remember buying my 'Plugged In' there 12 years ago...
You'll also find all rock t-shirts and accessories. Many bootlegged Motorhead pin badges as well as other bands. Good street food descent priced too. The whole market experience is quite entertaining.
