I saw Rush in 2010, their only time in Argentina. The lucky one here with Rush is Marco (Mmotorhead)... they always play in Brazil!!

The Rush in Rio dvd is awesome, as was Motorhead at rock in rio.I think before they hang up thier guitars for good, the world will get a full Rush tour. If Maiden are there this year, that will be a fantastic show, the setlist this year is unbeatable. I'm going to an Electric Light Orchestra tribute show tomorrow, wife has got me a ticket as my birthday on sunday

quo are playing Oz soon i think, albeit not the "classic" line up, worth a watch thoug if they're near you, Rossi n Parfitt will be buzzing from the UK tour i think, and Alan Lancaster resides there now, worth a ticket to see if he turns up Hammer! Cheers mate, will keep eyes and ears open to a Quo tour. Alan Lancaster, you may or may not know, was a member of Australian 'supergroup' The Party Boys for many years. They were a great live act, saw 'em quite a few times. Last saw'em when they opened for AC/DC down here back in '88. They weren't really known outside Australia, but they rocked like bastards.

In the latest issue of Classic Rock they have a piece on the FF reunion. In the interview one of the band (Rick I believe) suggests they may tour further afield than just the UK, and Australia is mentioned in the same sentence. You never know with Quo as most of the time they have their tongue's in their cheeks when they say anything, but I reckon it is possible given Alan's connections with the country. I certainly hope so for you.

Gillian, live at Reading, from the Double Trouble album. I'd forgotten just how good they were.
