Motörhead is a band you must see live, we can all agree on that.

'Golden Summernight' in 1981 (?) was the first show. Completely blown away (though I owned all albums). From then on every single tour, usually Stuttgart.

Another nice one was at Poperinge, Belgium in 1984 with Twisted Sister and those dudes from California, Metallisomething...

And I loved the atmosphere at 'Rock am Härtsfeldsee', Germany. The last tour, btw.

The worst show was MH and Manowar at Villingen-Schwenningen, Germany under the banner of 'Easter Metal Blast' back in the days without a proper record deal. A very, very tired band. But on the other hand the only time I saw Lemmy singing without his bass on one song (Deaf Forever?). I think Wurzel played it.

Was there a particular reason for that?

1989 Ginasio Ibirapuera in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The first time MH played in Brazil. Fuc**** loud, blow the amps so the show finishes with half hour... Second day was ok... and they had to do a third date to compensate the first one... I was there...

Another awesome show... and I met Lemmy backstage... Geez a pic with him... forever

Ten years late, 2002 in a theater in San Francisco- California... (the saddest day in my life). Met Lemmy in a bar, before the show ... talking for 10 minutes... and took another pic... Next day, let's check out the pics... (no digital cam yet) and the shock... The picture wasn't there...
Will remember this day until my last day...

GETTING INTO MOTORHEAD 4 YEARS BEFORE AT 13 AND BUYING ALL THEIR CDS TO DATE BEFORE THAT SHOW MADE ME WANT TO SEE THEM LIVE REALLY BAD

GREAT FUCKING SHOW ALL I REMEBER WAS COMING HOME AT 2 AM WITH MY EARS RINGING AND WAKING UP EARLY AT 7 AM NEXT DAY WITH THE RINGING STILL IN MY EARS!

There you go...I had a particularly good time in '05 at the HOB here in Vegas.

Also, I really went crazy in '95 when they were opening for Sabbath!
