Yeah it may seem weird but Iggy Pop did it, New York Dolls and a whole bunch of classic bands at Meltdown Festival in London a few times. Not saying they should but what a great experience it would be to see the Overkill album would be played back to back. I have a feeling Lemmy would probably not be into it as he consistently and understandably comments on not wanting to do the nostalgia trip in favour of new material and stuff by the current lineup but wouldn't a filmed one-off be great? The Ace Of Spades doc a few years back was unexpected and quite a revelation so why not Overkill, an album that gets its fair share of topping polls as the fans' favourite on here? It would be a buzz to see what The Motörhead of today would do with the likes of Limb From Limb and I Won't Pay Your Price, tracks which could do with an overdue airing. Remember how the current line-up re-recorded some of the classics not so long ago? There again, we might get Motörhead The Musical one day given the flurry of merchandise that is coming out at the moment. But that's another story...
