A mate has a question regards Motorhead support bands if anyone can help.

He saw Motorhead in the late 70's and early 80's and says Saxon supported one gig and Girlschool the other. He reckons Saxon was '79, which ties in with the Bomber Tour, but is unsure what year Girlschool supported. All he remembers is it was at The Hammy and he thinks it was 1980. Another lad says Girlschool supported on the Overkill Tour, in early '79 and a band called Weapon covered support duty in 1980. He definitely wasn't at the Rockstage gig in nottingham where Girlschool supported.

Can anyone shed any light on whether Girlschool supported in 1980 or '81 at the Hammy? Cheers in advance
